Mecca Bingo hall hit by thieves

A Mecca Bingo hall in Norwich was broken into in the early hours of Friday morning, although the thieves are thought to have left empty-handed.

The burglars forced entry into the building via a sky light before breaking into 35 slot machines and a change machine. They were forced to flee the scene after being disturbed by cleaners.

Police have said that three men were seen leaving the building via the roof before speeding off in a light-coloured estate-type vehicle which was parked close by.
